Located in the vibrant Garden Lane area of Chester "The Bouverie" is Modern British Taverns latest venture. The pub has been extensively refurbished; internal walls have been removed creating an open plan feel, new floors have been laid throughout combining oak and slate.
Fantastic bright funky artwork has been introduced to ensure that the pub has a contemporary feel whilst retaining some of the endearing features found in comfortable, unpretentious pubs.
'The Bouverie' will be open from 10 am each morning serving fresh juices and brunch. 'The Bouverie' will be the only outlet in the area to serve a really good cup of coffee with Union Coffee roasters fair-trade coffee available both to stay and to go.
We have possibly the best 'Beer Garden' in Chester with an impressively shaped deck, bean bags, barbeque area and a covered smoking area, making 'The Bouverie' a must for long lazy summer afternoons and evenings.
There will be free wireless access for our customers to enjoy; "Lunch while you surf the net or pick up your emails".
"The Bouverie" will be serving a simple and varied menu comprising of a variety of signature dishes. A section of the menu focuses on 'Comfort Food' and includes the 'Posh Chip Buttie', doorstop chunks of freshly buttered bread served with rocket and hollandaise or the 'Ultimate Fish Finger Sandwich' served on a ciabatta with rocket.
25 pence from every 'Fish Finger Sandwich' sold is being given to the companies chosen charity of the year: Bird.
